A few years back, Ayubia was only a small town with an amusement park, a shoe
store, a small restaurant, and a grocery store. Now the small town has transformed
into an international tourist attraction, attracting thousands of tourists who are
inspired by the lifestyle of Ayubians.
Ali and Ahmad, having grown up within the Ayubians’ faith, decided to take
advantage of their town’s popularity and their woodworking skills. Their shop
“Stylish Wood” began with a small display of handmade hickory rocking chairs, Ali
and Ahmad’s specialty. But within a few months, the display at Stylish Wood
included picnic tables, flower boxes, and small handmade novelty items. No other
shop offers the same.
Ali and Ahmad decorated the shop’s display room with authentic Ayubians
décor and eventually hired three Ayubians friends to sew and embroider napkins
and other textiles as per customer request. Ali and Ahmed are ready to assist in
every phase of the locate-compare-select process. In addition, two women from the
Ayubians community took permission from Ali and Ahmad to display home-cooked
traditional food items on Saturday and Sunday, the town’s busiest tourist days,
when Ayubia attracted group of visitors to its flea market on the south edge of town.
Ali and Ahmad stated, “Ayubia is full of specialty shops, people don’t come here
to buy things made in China or Taiwan. They want real Ayubians -made goods.”

Any idea ….any help is appreciated.
Selling price 700k—-down—240k—–bank loan—-460k
I answered a question. The question was a single mum who’s kid had just moved out. I said…Firstly, don’t trust those online things. Most of them are scams, and they aren’t reliable. You need to get your resume updated. There are usually ads in the newspaper for resume writers. Take some courses to make yourself more employable, such as bookkeeping, etc. My aunt, who has previously been a stay at home mum, has got a reception job by taking a few courses and looking. Think about your career dreams and what you really want to do. Write lists, think about what you want in a job. You could apply to be a front office receptionist at a fancy hotel, or a cleaning job. You could apply to a supermarket or other retail store, or factory. If you want to stay at home and work from home, or own your own business, to make the transition process to work then here are some options: -You could try telemarketing. You could do that from home. Call up telstra, optus, 3, and various companies, or look on their websites to see if they are currently hiring. -You could also start your own business making cakes, growing flowers and selling them, breeding dogs, making greeting cards, making soup, selling hand-sewn clothes, etc. and sell through a website, outside a store, through friends, etc. -You could also try taxi driving. Depending on your country, you may need a special licence or may not be old enough, but you could always try once you are eligible. My cousin used to drive taxis. A good place to pick up customers is in the city, at airports, hotels, restaurants, train stations and places like that. -If you are interested in skincare/makeup and/or cleaning produces and/or vitamins and health supplements then I suggest you try selling through pro-ma. Pro-ma works through independent distributors, and you get a competitive sales percentage. Unlike tupperware, your percentage increases the more you sell, and they have free training courses and books that you can buy. Here is their website: http://www.pro-masystems.com.au/ This is the income plan: http://www.pro-masystems.com.au/ You can also ask for help from an existing distributor. -If you have some money saved up, you could own a franchise such as dunkin’ donuts, subway, wendy’s, mcdonalds, gloria jeans, krispy kreme, etc. However, you may be required to work long hours and would most likely need to be on your feet a lot of the time. -You could also be a freelance artist, website designer, writer, etc. You get to make your own hours, and you can work from home. -You could also get into blogging. I know someone who gets their income by making blogs on various topics such as gardening, legal, makeup, cooking, computers, etc. You can buy articles, and you get paid to have advertisements. Or you can save money and write your own articles. -You could also try doing odd jobs such as moving, cleaning, etc for your neighbours. Or, you could do dog walking. Make fliers and send them all over the neighbourhood. The great thing about dog walking is that you get excercise and fresh air, you can work at your own hours, and you get to spend time with animals. You could try and be a house sitter, a sports coach, or volunteer if you can’t get a job. The great thing about volunteering is that it’s easy to get work, and although you don’t get paid, its something great that you can put on your resume. I hope that you find something. Keep looking, and consider being a sales rep for a pro-ma. I think it would be a good, flexible option, plus you could win an overseas holiday! Keep looking
I did appeal, and it didn’t work.
hi im an 18 year old from michigan..i work(ed) two jobs, i wait tables at a very upscale restaurant, and my other job..mcdonalds, lol, it’s all i could get because in november my dad took my car away for no reason, and it was the only other thing that was easy to get a job and in walking distance..ive done good in school, and im going to college next year, and ive worked these two jobs for OVER TWO YEARS, although i was recently hired at this mcdonalds, i used to work at a corporate one and then when i lost my car i had to go looking again, this one is a franchise, under the ownership of golden fry company(lol) im a very hard worker, i am never late, i work late all the time for lazy people because i provide for myself and i need the money..so now that you’ve gotten the background..last friday i talked to my manager at the restaurant i work at (eg nicks) and said that i needed a day in the week(this week) to work to get immediate money so i could pay this bill, and i dont get paid at mcdonalds till next monday, so it was my only option, i had been on a schedule- mcdonalds monday-thursday eg nicks-friday sat sunday, because those are the only days i can get a ride there. so schedules at mcdonalds go up and are arranged on sunday, i forgot to tell mcdonalds i couldnt work wednesday I UNDERSTAND THAT WAS MY BAD and has NEVER happened before, im always on top of my shit. so monday i go in, and tell my manager, matt, that i didnt think i could work wednesday night, and would if i had to and apologized, now remember this is FUCKING MCDONALDS, and he said ‘ill figure it out, and talk to you tomorow(tuesday)’and tuesday when i go in to work he had already left, another manager, mike, was on, i asked him about it and he was a little bitch and said i couldn’t and then contacted another manager who said ‘id lose my job if i worked at eg nicks on wednesday’ so i took that seriously and tried getting my shift off at eg nicks, but my older sister who worked there, told everyone not to take it(looking out for me..) and that i would make wayyy more money at eg nicks(true i made 120) so i got up wednesday morning and walked into mcdonalds, and matt was there, and i said ‘hey i cant get anybody to take my shift, at eg nicks, just checking if theres anyone here now who will work for me(obviously, using that as bate) and he said ‘i was looking at the schedule, and they’ll be fine if you dont come in’ i said ‘nicole said i would lose my job, are you sure?’ he said ‘ yes, dont worry about it i got it covered, you can work your other job tonight, you can make up another day this week’ and seeing as i work every fucking day every fucking week, i offered my lone day off in 3 weeks, sunday, and i was going to work 7a-4p, i said ‘okay’ and walked out.
so i go in today, punch in, waiting to get assigned a bitchass station, and nicole walks up and says ‘your not supposed to be working’ i said ‘why’ she said lol get this ‘ you dissed us by working your other job, wednesday is our day’ i then explained me talking to matt, and all that good shit, matt was there, but steered clear of talking to nicole til i left the area(fishy, no wonder he’s 45 and works at mcdonalds..) and then came in the lobby and said that they dont know if it will be an ongoing problem and fired me.LOL. even though i said TO MATT, NICOLE DID THE FIRING THROUGH MATT ‘i’ve worked two jobs since 16, ive never had any problem like this, i’ve called in sick like 2 times since then, this wont be a problem, he basicly told me that i couldnt talk to anyone(PROBABLY BECAUSE HIS DOWNS ASS LIED TO NICOLE) and to call tomorow..he’s slow in the head(no joke, i think hes mildly retarded) so i didnt get mad, i walked out with class and told nicole id call tomorow, the good thing is, im set to get about 2,000 bucks(real rich family, were realll wealthy, but my parents ‘cut me off’ at 17 except for insurances, house, food, and paying for college) for my grad party this week, and get my car back, so i have time to get another job, but really, was this shit even legal, at all?
SO WHAT’S GOOD ABOUT IT?
It’s an open world environment.
The loading times have significantly decreased.
The CAS studio sims look better than ever before.
The sims have more character traits that make them behave differently.
There are options to vary the characters voices so they don’t all sound the same.
You can customize most decorations in and around the house to allow for personal taste and diversity.
AND WHAT’S BAD ABOUT THE SIMS 3?
The create your own style has limitations as build objects like stairs, roof tiles and chimneys cannot be altered.
No longer is there a cinematic moment when your sim has first kiss, woo hoo, gets engaged, gets married or has a baby.
You can’t start with a blank neighbourhood and place empty lots of varying size to create your own world like in the Sims 2.
The create your own style is limited with such things as making a door the colour you want it but not being able to change the knob.
There are buildings that sims disappear into while working that cannot be decorated/rebuilt and are unmovable, these buildings have no contents.
Bad UV mapping on town roads shows the yellow lines dont match up at the bends, it’s quite obvious from a distance so it becomes annoying and unsightly.
You now have to pay for custom content as EA have made a ruling that sharing custom content for free is violating their rules and could lead to prosecution.
You can’t send your sim shopping, go out to a restaurant or nightclub and actually see the sims, as above they just disappear for a while, nor can you design any of these places in any degree.
Transferred CAS sims lose all their looks in the actual game, texture sizes seem to have been reduced from a 1024×1024 body and 512×512 face to a 256×256 body and a 128×128 face making sims look like dolls with NO realism whatsoever.
A serious problem with pc’s running windows vista makes the game freeze periodically and you have to reset or switch off your system which makes it very hard to feel any progression within the game and risks data loss of which some may be valuable.
The global lighting system in the Sims 3 is very poor, sim shadows are almost non existant, specular artifacts can be seen on objects and sims, due to this textures look too saturated which results in less blending and even more artifacts like colour banding.
One of the main reasons this franchise was so successful was the ability to create your own stuff, there are no options for custom content such as your own textures for floor tiles, walls, pictures or clothing let alone the possibility of an easy way to make new clothing like the TS2 body shop offered.
The patterns and materials that are available to create your own style are hideous and look as if they were made by amateurs or rushed out with no care taken, these things are mostly the only way of customising the game seeing as other previously open avenues have now been closed in order to provide this open world environment.
The available items to choose from in CAS, buy and build mode are pathetic compared to the Sims 2 base game, also the quality of meshes and textures has been dumbed down so much that objects look pixellated and blurry no matter the lod distance between camera and object. Basically the lod system has been overlooked and swept under the rug.
Missing animations like sims opening car doors and getting in, sims just slip in and out and not with grace either, the baby diapers and bottles now disappear and cannot be cleaned up, babies are not changed on a table anymore nor can they be washed in a sink, they magically get clean after a sim spins them in the air and the nappy falls off.
Very few of the textures supplied with the game are suitable for use in any context, it looks like EA games are buying their textures from DOSCH Textures and barely altering them, every decent cg artist knows these are not suitable for games and barely suitable for mental ray rendering. Spending some time on making nice textures would help overcome some major frustrations.
That’s my view after being a avid fan of the sims franchise for years ever since the first game.
What do you think?
These companies make so much money.
More then lawyers and doctors.
I don’t understand.
This is so uncalled for. their job is harder then the receptionist who has to answer the phones.
I worked in college in many upscale restaurants as a hostess and my job was a piece of cake but the servers’ jobs were not.
I don’t understand.
Why are they so underpaid?
I’m out of work right now and my easiest jobs were working in an office whether it was booking travel arrangements or invoicing using Quickbooks.
This stuff is mindless.
So why are people that work in fast food joints underpaid when the franchises make so much money?
Even a cashier at a hospital is underpaid.
Or a CVS.
Their job is harder then people who sit on their ass in an office.
Pink:What i was trying to say was a lawyers office will not make as much as a franchise which is true. However lawyers have the respect to pay their employees fair. Franchises don’t. I really don’t understand? These franchises are making more money which boggles my mind and paying their workers less. I worked one week as a cashier. Definitely harder then sitting down in an office.
